Monday May 28: Romans 2
Key Verse to consider: Verse 11 – “For God does not show favoritism.”
Question to ponder: Multiple times in chapters 1 and 2 we read about “first for the Jew, then for the Gentile” – what do you make of Paul’s teaching here? Why does he seem to be going out of his way to establish this order? Is it troubling that so many Jewish people have historically rejected Jesus as Savior and Lord? Why is this?
Action to pursue: Are you guilty of showing favoritism in your spiritual life? Do you look at some people differently than others for one reason or another? Ask God in prayer to help you see all people equally.
