Friday August 18: Proverbs 2
Key Verses to consider: Verses 9-11 – “Then you will understand what is right and just and fair – every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.”
Question to ponder: In Proverbs 2 we learn how to understand the fear of the Lord and how to find the knowledge of God – what is the key? Do you feel like you are practicing the type of spiritual life Proverbs 2 describes? If not, what changes might help? We are taught wisdom will save us from the perverse ways of this world – have you seen this play out in your life or in the lives of others?
Prayer Point: Pray for a desire to fear the Lord in the very best way – reverence for, honor to, allegiance to, and loyalty to our King!
